Delta song
"Delta Song" is a service provided to travelers flying on Delta Airlines. It was started as an offshoot of the now defunct Airline Song that proved unsuccessful for Delta Airlines. Airline Song was known to consumers as being an airline that genuinely cared for the comfort of each of its travelers. Many customers enjoyed the special amenities this project offered, so after the collapse of Airline Song, Delta decided to offer some unique amenities on many of their regular flights, calling this new program "Delta Song. " As a result, leather seats and touch screen video equipment were added to many of Delta's airplanes.
Delta's goal is to have "Delta Song" service on all flights within the continental United States that travel more than 1,750 miles. Delta will also be adding first-class seats on the "Airline Song" planes, reducing the number of low-cost tickets it has on the market. Despite the failure of Airline Song, the fact that Delta is incorporating many of the comforts associated with its service into their "Delta Song" program proves that the experiment had at least some value.
Delta has had financial problems in recent years and has had to file for bankruptcy protection. They are hoping that the "Delta Song" service will bring the traveler back to Delta Airlines, and that they will become the airline of choice for domestic flights.
Delta is hoping that the "Delta Song" service will help them gain financial stability again and for this level of service to become the standard in the industry.
