Yet, it wouldn’t hurt anyone to know some factual details on USA.United States sprawls upon the North American continent and the land is what makes USA the rich and vibrant country we come to know over many decades. Naturally, American people are not to be underestimated and their share in wealth creation would always remain a landmark in the United States history archives. The USA industrial foundation was established on production of incredible amounts of its own raw materials, including oil, timber and iron ore, mostly concentrated in agriculturally fertile California valleys. Three coasts washed by Atlantic, Pacific oceans, together with the Gulf of Mexico, Great Lakes and substantial river systems have generated natural transportation network. Each of the 50 USA states is governed by its own local authority organism and has its own flags, laws and traditions. The USA geographic design forms the following views: the better part of the Gulf of Mexico to the North of Canada continent, stretching over at least 1,500 miles exhibits relatively plane surface. The Mississippi River Valley incises the central part of this region and further to the west, rockier plane is observed. The western third of the USA is covered with much higher mountains. Overall, the American west is quite a diverse area with snow mountains, high plains, prairies and desert. |
